We place young people and women at the heart of our action, recognizing their fundamental role in transforming communities and building a peaceful future. The program offers practical training to young girls and women displaced by war, enabling them to acquire skills in sustainable, environmentally-friendly economic sectors.
One of our flagship initiatives is training in the production of eco-friendly charcoal, a sustainable alternative to traditional production. As well as generating direct income, this activity helps to preserve forest resources and reduce deforestation in conflict-affected areas.
The Amani na Mazingira program is part of a global vision of sustainable development, offering women and young people economic opportunities that respect nature, thus promoting social cohesion and lasting peace. By supporting local communities, we are helping to build a more resilient, peaceful and environmentally-friendly future.
